Sammie had always been very creative. She was in her kitchen all the time mixing tomatoes with bananas or creaming-soda with broccoli. Sammie was always serving up radish pancakes or sausage flavoured ice-cream to her kids Pete and Elizabeth, who weren't such a big fan of her cooking. After school, Elizabeth and Pete came home to a pot on the stove with a note lying next to it. The note said "I will be late home from work, so afternoon tea is in the pot. Enjoy!" They were hungry so Elizabeth inched forward towards the pot, but when she lifted the lid, something amazing was inside...
Good story Georgia! I really wouldn't like to be Elizabeth or Pete. :)

Georgia, you've written a fabulous story! It's interesting and amusing and is filled with wonderful description. I do wonder what Elizabeth and Pete will find in the teapot. You've got this reader hooked!
Hay I really liked your story, I thought it was good with putting the extra info. I don't think I would like tomato with bananas and especially not sausage flavoured ice-cream. Well done keep up the good writing.!!!

I loved how you decided to make the end suspenseful. It really added a lot to the story. It was also fun to listen to the crazy foods that Sammie made!
